Finding the right therapist is like finding the silver lining in a cloud. A therapist can offer hope and reassurance. But knowing where to look or who to ask is often a daunting and overwhelming task.

The following list of therapists, both inside and outside the Beltway, were recommended by parents raising a special needs child in the DC Metro area. They include speech and language pathologists; occupational therapists; psychologists, both floortime and behavior specialists; and vision, music and nutrition therapists.

If you would to recommend a therapist, please email jayne@oopswrongplanet.com, and we will contact you.
